DIY Ribbon Garland

I made this garland as a decoration for my booths when I do handmade markets.
Since I don't do a ton of markets during the year, I thought it would be a great
decoration to hang above our bed.  All I did was buy 10-15 rolls of different pastel
colored ribbons at Hobby Lobby and then cut them all around the same size.  I then
tied a knot and they just draped like so.  The whole thing was a little pricey, around $40.
Ribbon isn't that cheap and they don't give you a whole lot!  But I like it. I think I
will use this for Olivia's birthday party decoration too! So then I feel like I am getting my $$ worth!

  3. That's such a cute idea. Check on ebay & etsy for ribbon next time. ;) I've bought tons on there at really low prices!

  4. That is super cute! I wonder if you could use cheap streamers if you wanted to make a disposable one for a birthday party or something.

  5. definitely a great idea! I've seen similar garlands with fabric, but I like how pretty the ribbon looks; and yes, use it a lot so you get your money's worth out of it! ;)

  6. Love it. Another idea I've used for different things is Tulle. Used it for YW In Excellence and a myriad of other things.
