Savers Haul

As I mentioned before, we are trying to buy a house.  I know the process is going to be long, but I love to gather items that I think will work in my new home decor.  Do you want to hear a funny story? It wasn't so funny at the time, but I can laugh about it now.

I went to Saver's (local thrift store) with both kids by myself, (not the easiest thing to do).  I went to check out and realized my wallet was at home.  Problem.  They held my items and I quickly drove home and came back.  I bought my items and left.  The next day, I was getting ready to run to the store with the kids and realized my wallet was missing.  (seriously?!?!) So I looked everywhere in my house.  Repeatedly asked Olivia where she put it.  She had no idea.  Then Daniel retraced my steps the night before.  He called Saver's and sure enough I had left it IN MY CART!  Thank goodness for honest people.

Anyways, everything is ok, but I seriously have mom brain.  It's kinda funny, Last Memorial Day, Saver's was having a 50% off sale.  I went and checked it out.  Saw all these items there and wanted them, but the line was almost out the door and I really didn't have the patience to wait that long.  I came back Thursday and they were all there still! Totally meant to be.

I am thinking the large frame I am going to spray paint that dark blue, the color with the sample on it.  And maybe turn it into a mirror.  Then the small frame, I am not sure.  I love these glass bowls.  I think I want to turn them into a candy bowl.  Doesn't that sound yum?
