Weight Watching

I don't think I ever announced on my blog that I started the Weight Watchers program.  I have so far not really liked it as much as I thought I would, but only because I was so used to using the free app My Fitness Pal.  (which I highly recommend)  I have gone to 2 meetings so far and have been impressed, but I don't see why it's $40 a month.  Their app is a little more confusing than My Fitness Pal or I am just used to that app.  But I will keep trying it out.  I do like that vegetables and fruit are free point value.  So for dinner that is what we had!  I have become more and more into vegetables, LOVE THEM!

One of the speakers at Weight Watchers gave us a recipe for the best Ranch Dip.  I am going to blog about that tomorrow.  I like it more than the regular Ranch dip.  For 3 tablespoons it's only 1 point.  I think its 60 Calories for 3 tablespoons according to My Fitness Pal.  Guys, thats amazing compared to the real dip!  Have you done weight watchers?  What have been your experiences been?

  2. i've been doing weight watchers since october, and have to say, i LOVE it!! in my first week i lost 10.5 lbs which was just incredible, and have in total lost about 50lbs, still got more to lose tho! i think it's just the EASIEST EVER diet, i cannot praise it enough! well done for all you've done!!

  3. When you feel like you have the hang of weight watchers you should check out the app ultimate value diary. It does pretty much the same as the weight watchers app but you don't have to pay for the weight watchers monthly fee. I think the app itself is something like 2.99 but that beats the ww monthly fee any day.

  4. I can't wait to hear about this ranch dip! I've never done weight watchers, but I do MyFitnessPal and love it! Those veggies look delish!

  5. We just started WW too but we are not official. We have a copy of the book and the slider and we just know how many points we can have and figure out points with the slider thing. We have been doing it for almost a week. Drinking enough water, I have found, is helpful in feeling full.

  7. i was on weight watchers back in january and i loved it! the app takes getting used too, but it's great and i really liked the point system. that worked better for me than counting calories. i did the online program and that was great.
