So I haven't written much about what WE are doing lately and I think I should! Daniel was out of town for work this past week and I was playing the single mom role. Don't think I did too well since I can't seem to manage two littles all by myself but we survived! Hoping he doesn't have to leave again for a little bit! We got to go on a date Saturday night which was a first in a while! We of course went to our favorite restaurant, Bombay House. I don't think we will ever tire of that place. Daniel is still in school/working and I am still a mom/working. Its an interesting challenge each day how to juggle our crazy schedules but somehow we make it work.
This is the kids and I yesterday right before church. Olivia has been having a hard time staying both 2 hours in nursery and so this time, all throughout Sacrament meeting I kept saying, "You're going to go to nursery, right?" or "If you stay in nursery, I will give you a treat when we get home." Each time I said something she responded with ok. I didn't think it would work, but sure enough she was totally fine when I took her and stayed the whole time. First in a while we have actually stayed all 3 hours and not had total meltdowns from either of the kids. Small celebrations over here.
Harrison is looking less like a baby and more like a little boy. I can't believe my eyes most of the time. He is standing by himself, almost walking but not quite there. He turns 10 months this week and I am blown away at how fast its been going. While I am going to miss having a little baby around, I sure love seeing them grow and develop especially since Olivia and Harrison are playing more and more together. Hearing their giggles and laughters when they are playing makes all the hard times so worth it. We had to give him his 2nd haircut already because this boy has HAIR! And with each time we cut it, it gets blonder! He's becoming a total toehead.
