Weightloss Update

As many of you may know, I have been striving each and every day to shed some extra pounds and become more healthier and active.  I have definitely learned so much about myself: the way I view food and the strength that I have.  I am still going strong and accomplishing goals to healthier me.  I have lost a total of 38lbs since Feb 21 since I started on this goal.  This has been one of the hardest things for me to accomplish because it really is your brain saying how you need that piece of cheesecake and how you're too tired so why should you go and exercise.  I have been asked A LOT on "How do I do it?"  Well the thing is, I am no where near where I want to be, so I feel like I don't have the right to answer that question yet, but I usually say it's all about setting goals and knowing that you want that more than anything.  Right now, that is what I want more than anything besides being with my family.  I have had to change a lot of things in my life to accomplish the results that I have gotten so far because you can't just try and squeeze a workout in or try and remember to eat healthy.  For those who don't know, I am counting calories using my fitness pal.  I eat around 1300-1500 calories a day and tend to burn between 300-1000 depending my exercises.  I usually eat a lot of protein and fruit/vegetables.  I recently signed up for a 5K and have been getting myself ready for that so I have been running a lot which I have come to love.  I do still crave treats and I will occasionally indulge but I know that it's not worth it.

This week though has been the hardest for me yet.  I have been losing 2 lbs a week on average which I have been super lucky to do so.  This week I didn't lose any and actually gained a few.  I was tracking everyday and exercising too so I think that its either a plateau or I am gaining muscle.  I am hoping that this next week will be better and I will start seeing more results since I have been working SO VERY hard for them.  If you want to follow my journey more frequently, I update a lot on my Instagram @livylovedesigns but I will be back in a month or so with how I am doing then!

  5. Don't forget that at different points in your cycle, you will weight more or less so dont get discouraged if you are a little heavier some weeks than others.
